Final assignments and instructions will be sent via email in mid-April.
As a thank you, all volunteers will receive an Earth Day t-shirt or tote bag. The shirts are made from 100% post consumer PET (soda bottles) materials. Very Earth friendly!

Recycling & Reuse Roundup Volunteers |

10-15 (2 to 3 per one hour) |
| Description: |
Volunteers will be assisting organizations involved in the Recycling and Reuse Round-up who will be collecting a variety of recyclable and reusable items including, but not limited to: electronics, clothing, linens, shoes, microwaves, baby strollers, tools, pots& pans, tires, latex paint, books, books on tape, DVDs, printer cartridges, and personal records and documents for shredding and recycling. Some heavy lifting may be involved. |

Event Recycling Volunteers |

| Job Description: |
Volunteers will be responsible for assisting the City's Recycling Coordinator with
onsite management of event recycling and waste. Volunteers will help educate participants about what can and can be recycled or composted and directing them to the appropriate bins. They will also assist with pulling full bags of recyclables and compostables and transporting them to the appropriate truck for recovery. Some heavy lifting may be involved. |
