Alexandria Earth Day 2013
Mark your calendar for Alexandria Earth Day 2013! This year's celebration will be held at Ben Brenman Park (4800 Brenman Park Drive) on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year's theme is Water: Every Drop Counts! The event will include educational exhibits, demonstrations, hands-on activities for children, a tree sale, and more!
This year’s event will also feature the Upcycling Showcase, where students will showcase their creative interpretation of the event theme through literature, fashion, visual arts and performing arts. Schools will be judged on artistic and creative merit, and the winner will receive funds to put toward an environmental project at the school!

Leave Your Car at Home on Earth Day!
Please consider walking, biking or taking transit to Alexandria Earth Day! Check out the Alexandria Bikeways map for safe, recommended routes to the park, including the scenic Holmes Run Parkway trail. Both DASH (703.370.DASH) and Metrobus (202.637.7000) offer service to the park as well.
